Hi Everyone,

Fijian Homecare Angels was founded in 2016 by Jone and Tui Wesele. The idea blossomed from within our local church in Cloverdale, the United Church of Cloverdale. It was only meant to cover our church members who were referred to us by our Pastor and other church members. Services then expanded to include members of our Cloverdale community. Through word of mouth, other families requested us of our services. The breadth and scope of our services remained like that for a number of years even though we had cases that took us as far North as Laytonville, Clearlake, Roseville, Sacramento, Petaluma, San Rafael, Stockton and as far south as San Jose.

Towards the end of 2020, when our children started resettling in USA, we decided to take it seriously and go for expansion. We know that our children are still young, and this was something that we can build together to ensure they are covered and remain on their feet whilst they search for their individual career and ambition in this land of the free and home of the brave.

It was a difficult decision because we were right in the thick of ‘stay at home orders’ as Covid-19 engulfed the world. However, the changing climate also presented a new way of doing things. Most people were home bound and adopting to the ‘work from home’ climate. Fortunately, with some online experience, we started to jell with the new way of doing things.

With California now on the journey back to normalcy, the Fijian Homecare Angels with past experiences and new way of doing things, is ready to soar.

Our Mission & Values

The mission of the Fijian Homecare Angels is to ensure a better quality of life for our senior citizens and their families by providing dependable and affordable in-home care. We totally believe that excellence in in-home care begins with caring deeply for our caregivers and employees and investing in their professional development and training. We are committed to continuous learning and adapting to the changing environment. We believe that it is what differentiates us and equips us “to help the seniors in our community age well in their homes”. The results are a well-trained, professional team and an outstanding reputation from providing peace of mind to families that we are currently serving and those that we have had the privilege of serving in the past.

At the very heart of our Fijian culture is compassion and care for “vuvale’ (family). In Fiji, you will hardly find a Fijian vuvale sending their parent(s) or grandparent(s) to a ‘senior home’; We take care of them at the comfort of our own home. That deep passionate behavior of love is something that is part of our nature and culture which best displays the type of care we provide.

We are careful in selecting our caregivers because we want our customers to experience only the best. From the interactions you will have with care managers, we understand that without compassion and empathy, building trust and relationships will be a huge task. Hence our process of selecting caregivers, where we endeavor to match our clients with caregivers who not only have the necessary experience and skills, but who also have similar personalities and interests that will encourage companionship and create a lasting relationship.

Therefore, in all facets of our service, we strive to add value to every piece such that the complete package offered to each client far exceeds their expectation.
